About this activity

Description

Our guide Bernie is a professional photographer with over 20 years experience. He runs BosPhotography in conjunction with being a guide for Tundra Tours.

His passion for the art of photography is something that we admire. He is more then happy to teach any of our explorers on how to get that “perfect” picture. With the challenge of catching the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) in low light scenes or just that amazing landscape shot. Bernie will guide you step by step. We will be a small photography group of about six people. We will go off the beaten track to get to our perfect night photography location.

We supply everything you may need. And we have lenses and cameras that can be hired if you don’t have your own. We provide only canon cameras and lenses.

We provide full night photography tuition throughout the tour so that you can catch the Aurora and the night landscape in all its glory.
We have live updates on the current state of the aurora oval and interplanetary magnetic field status, to maximize our chance of finding the Aurora. And we keep a two way radio contact with our office if anything should be of interest regarding the Aurora forecast.

We supply hot drinks and hot food, depending on our location for the evening me might have our meal over an open fire – vegetarian meals or other dietary requirements must be ordered on request.
